Website care plans, billed once a year.
Every Website Mill site includes its first year of hosting, SSL and a business email. After that, a care plan keeps the domain, hosting and SSL renewed, and your website backed up, updated and monitored, for one yearly fee. It’s optional, there are no monthly charges, and you always own your site.

How it works
Year one is included. Year two is your choice.
A build includes your domain, a year of hosting, SSL and a business email address. A care plan is what looks after all of that from the second year on, and it’s never required.

Your renewal date is tracked, and you get a reminder before anything is due, so nothing lapses by surprise.

Domain
Registered in your name. We manage the renewal, the DNS settings and any transfers, and you’re always the owner.
Hosting
Managed hosting that keeps your pages loading quickly on phones, with the SSL certificate included.
Security & SSL
Your certificate renews automatically, so visitors never see a “not secure” warning.
Business email
Your address at your own domain stays renewed. We set it up and keep it renewed; we don’t manage your inbox day to day.
Monitoring
We watch that your site is up, so a problem is noticed by us rather than by a customer.
Backups
On Growth and Active Care, monthly off-site copies of your site, so it can be restored if anything goes wrong.
Updates
New hours, a new photo, an updated price: email us and we make the change. How many depends on your plan.
Support
A real person by email. On Growth and Active Care, your messages go to the front of the queue.
You stay in control
Your site is yours, with or without a plan.
A care plan is a service, not a lock. Here’s exactly what happens if you decide not to renew.
You own it outright
The domain is registered in your name, and you can ask for the complete site files at any time.
If a plan lapses
Your site stays live for a 30-day grace period, with no changes. After that it goes offline, and we send you a full file export and transfer the domain to you.
No exit fees
Want to move hosts or run it yourself? We hand over the files and transfer the domain, with no fee and no friction.

What is a website care plan?
A yearly service that keeps your website running after its first year: your domain, hosting, SSL and business email renewed, plus monitoring and support. Higher plans add backups, regular content updates and new pages.
Do I have to buy one?
No. A care plan is optional. Your build includes the first year of hosting, SSL and email, and after that you can take a plan, or take your files and domain and look after the site yourself.
Is it billed monthly?
No. Care plans are billed once a year: $149, $249 or $499. Nothing monthly is required to keep your site online.
How is a care plan different from the build price?
The build is a one-time payment to design and launch your site, and it includes the first year of domain, hosting, SSL and email. A care plan covers the years after that.
How do I ask for a change to my site?
Email us what you’d like updated, such as new hours, a new photo or a changed price, and we make the change. How many changes are included depends on your plan.
What happens if I don’t renew?
Your site stays live for a 30-day grace period, with no changes. After that it goes offline, and we send you a full file export and transfer the domain to you. There are no exit fees.
