Most small businesses do not have a social media problem. They have a set-up problem. The account exists, but the bio is vague, the profile picture does not match the logo, and every post looks like it came from a different business. Fixing that once makes everything after it easier.
The profile: your shop window
When someone finds you, the profile is what they judge in a few seconds. It should have:
- A name and handle that match your business name, so people can find you
- A bio that says what you do and where, written in plain words
- A profile picture taken from your logo, sized so it still reads in a small circle
- A link that goes somewhere useful, such as your site, menu or booking page
- Contact buttons switched on, so there is an obvious next step
Highlights: the part people tap
Highlight covers sit right under the bio and stay there. For most local businesses four are enough: the menu or services, how to order or book, events, and reviews. Give them matching covers in your brand colours and they make the profile look finished.
Templates: so anyone can post something that looks right
Branded post and story templates are the biggest time saver. When the layout, colours and type are already decided, a new announcement takes minutes and looks like it belongs with everything else, whoever makes it.

A content calendar: deciding before you are tired
Deciding what to post on the day is where most accounts fall apart. A simple calendar for the first month, with a mix of your products or services, the people behind them, customer moments and announcements, takes the guesswork out. Captions written in your voice mean the account sounds like you, not like a template.
A consistent account with a clear profile beats a busy one that looks different every day.
What a launch kit can’t do
It cannot promise followers, reach or sales, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What it does is make sure everything you publish is set up properly and looks and sounds like your business. Social accounts are also “rented land”: they work best alongside a website you own, which we explain in You’re on Instagram, But That’s Not Enough.
What we include
Our social launch kit covers the profile name and bio, highlight covers, branded post and story templates matched to your brand, and a content calendar with captions in your voice. It is quoted per project. Ongoing monthly content is available and quoted separately. Details are on the services page.
